About the Artist

Born and raised in the vibrant heart of Slidell, Louisiana, and now rooted in the creative energy of Austin, Texas, my journey through art began with my mom, Libby, a passionate crafter who sparked my artistic spirit. From early ceramics classes to piano lessons, my fascination with creativity blossomed. By high school, I was immersed in both music and visual arts, devouring every class and skill I could.

Initially drawn to Loyola of New Orleans on a music scholarship, I soon realized a deeper calling and transferred to the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana Lafayette) to pursue psychology with a minor in English. Graduate studies at Texas A&M University followed, culminating in a Ph.D. in 1999, propelling me into a fulfilling career in educational and psychological testing.

Today, as the Director of Research and Development at PRO-ED, Inc., I blend my academic rigor with a profound passion for creating art. Nestled in my home studio, I craft pieces that reflect the boundless beauty and wonder I see in the world. My mission is simple yet profound: to evoke in others the same awe and fascination that drives me, through every stroke and creation.

In a world brimming with beauty, my art strives to capture and share this essence, inspiring wonder and curiosity in all who encounter it.
